Quirinus Heinsbroek heeft in 1898 het werk op de boerderij van zijn
vader aan de Zwethkade 25 in Vrijenban overgenomen.


In 1910 nam hij de boerderij in erfpacht over. Hij had tussen de 50 en 100 stuks rundvee.



In 1928 werden enige percelen onteigend voor de aanleg van rijksweg 13.



Op 12 mei 1940 werden huis en inventaris door de oorlog verwoest, inclusief de boedel van zijn zoon Arie die op trouwen stond.


Het huis werd daarna herbouwd.


In 1941 verliet Krijn de boerderij die hij aan zijn zoon Arie overdroeg en vestigde zich in de Burg.Bosstraat in Overschie.


Hij bekleedde zeer veel functies: 1904 bestuurslid van de Boerenleenbank, 1910 bestuurslid Polder Akkersdijk, 1924 voorzitter, 1912-1950 Kerkmeester van de R.K. Parochie St.Petrus Banden in
Overschie, 1912 Bestuurslid Coop. Brandwaarborg Mij. Overschie e.o., 1912 Oprichter en Bestuurslid "Ons Streven", 1920 Bestuurslid L.T.B.Kethel, 1932 Bestuurslid Rotterd.Melkveiling Noord later CMC
genaamd, 1938 Plaatsvervangend Hoofd-Ingeland Delfland district VI.
