Martinus Hubertus Wijers (Tinus Wijers) was cafe-houder en eigenaar van garagebedrijf Wijers aan de Rijksweg te Bergen (L). Hij was ook taxi-chauffeur en bezat een auto. Het bedrijf had ook een pompstation, een fietsenwinkel(tje), een fietsen- en autowerkplaats.
Martinus was lid van de schutterij St. Petrus. De schutterspalen stonden achter het cafe in de Bergse Hei. Hij was ook een fervent jager en samen met "Len van de Halve Maan" heeft hij heel wat wild neergelegd. Tinus was een aimable, rustige man die altijd tijd voor je had. Hij is overleden aan kanker in het ziekenhuis te Venray.
