    IN MEMORIAM
    Te Blerick overleed de heer M.H. de Kunder. Bij vele sociale
    aangelegenheden in de parochies is hij betrokken geweest. Toen hij in 1955 in Roermond leefde was hij direct bereid zich nuttig te maken. Als een van de eerste leken zette hij zich, en zelfs geheel belangeloos, in bij de reorganisatie van het diocesaan Weekblad Credo. Alhoewel hij gehandicapt was door het missen van een oog, dat hij verborg, wist hij niettegenstaande zijn hoge leeftijd veel werk te verzetten. Tussen zijn vrienden die hem meehielpen was hij steeds de vrolijke noot. Aan het gezelschap kon men horen of De Kunder er al was.
    Zijn vertrek naar Blerick maakte hieraan een einde. Toen werd hij een van de beste contactpersonen die gaarne de moeilijkste gevallen opknapte.
    Drie-en-tachtig jaar oud heeft O.L. Heer hem tot zich geroepen. Moge de goede meester hem belonen met zijn vrienden voor de apostolische bezieling waarmede hij door zijn werk toen de bloei van CREDO heeft weten te bevorderen. Hij ruste in vrede. B.C.

21 Januari 1904 werd hij te Zwolle benoemd tot perronconducteur
2e kl.; 22 Juli 1906 ging hij naar Berkum; aldaar werd hij
13 Januari 1907 benoemd tot telegrafist; 17 Febr. 1907 ging hij
naar Hengelo; 28 Febr. 1915 werd hij verplaatst naar Heerlen;
1 Juli 1918 werd hij aldaar benoemd tot stationsambtenaar;
16 Sept. 1923 werd hij aangesteld tot 1e haltechef te Haelen;
