Was Dr. en oudste advocaat voor het hof van Friesland,pensionaris van de ("gedoopt als Claes Joannes Niclaes")Leeuwarden.

Zijn vrouw was eerst overleden, heeft maar twee dochters gehad die elk voor de helft erfden, Boedel scheiding 11 oct 1727.



Gedoopt te Leeuwarden als Claes Joannes Niclaes. Sedert 17sep1663 Jur.student te Leiden. Promoveert in Franeker 1664. 18 oct 1664 advocaat te leeuwarden, voor 1666 pensionaris Harlingen. Voor 1717 oudste advocaat. 1sep1673 raadsman in de vroedschap Leeuwarden. 1684-1687 bouwmeester. leeftt nog in 1707. (Civ. Sent.Sent 152/24a). Zie ook groot consentboek 1681-243 (koop Eewal), 1699-57 (koop oostersingel bij weerklank), kleinconsentboek 1693-54 en 1698-141 (beide Blokhuissteeg, waar E.Poutsma 1728 ro 98 niaarn emt).

Begraven als de Oldpensionaris Docter Nicolaes Poutsma in de Westerkerk. 17jul1681 diacen,

Nicolaus, Johannes Poutsma; born 20 Nov 1641 at Leeuwarden, christened at Leeuwarden, Senior advocaat bij hof van Friesland, died 26 April 1727 at Leeuwarden.He married 11 March 1666 Saapke, Nicolaes van Wiersma, born 1645 at Kollum.
