Getuigen bij het huwelijk waren Jan Hendrik Krimp, oud 69 jaar, schoenmaker, oom van de bruidegom, wonende te Rheden, Hermanus Berendsen, oud 59 jaar, arbeider, oom van de Bruidegom, wonende te Velp, gemeente Rheden, Hendrik Nijman, oud 36 jaar, landbouwer, neef van de bruid, wonende te Hummelo en Keppel en Gerrit Schut, oud 31 jaar, koetsier, neef van de bruid, wonende te Velp.
Door het bruidspaar werden overlegd hun geboortebewijzen en een bewijs dat Manus aan zijn verplichtingen ten aanzien van de Nationale Militie had voldaan.
De ouders van de bruidegom waren bij de trouwerij aanwezig en gaven hun toestemming.
Opvallend is dat Manus zonder beroep was.

DE COMMISSARIS DES KONINGS IN DE PROVINCIE GELDERLAND verklaart, dat Hermanus Bernardus Berendsen, geboren te Rheden den 4 Juni 1855, wonende te Rheden, van beroep zonder, zoon van Willem en van Johanna Geertruida Colewij, beiden wonende te Rheden, in het inschrijvings-register van de gemeente Rheden van het jaar 1874, voor de ligting van het jaar 1875, is ingeschreven; en dat hem vervolgens bij de loting is ten deel gevallen ?. 77; dat, buiten oproeping gebleven zijnde, hem tot geen dienst heeft verpligt.
Gegeven te ARNHEM, den 30 April 1884.

Op gezinsblad 321 periode 1850-1861 wonen Willem en Johanna Geertrui vanaf 4-11-1854 in het huis nr. 201, waar voorheen Willems schoonouders woonden. Daar zijn geboren hun kinderen Hermanus Bernardus en Bernardus Johannes. Op 1-5-1855 kwam Willems vader bij hen wonen en op 21-2-1860 ene Hendrik Gerritsen, (uit Arnhem of Renkum, dat is niet te lezen) geboren 1785 te Arnhem, weduwnaar. Ook woonde daar nog Gerritje Berendsen, geboren 10-4-1809 te Velp, ongehuwd.

Op gezinsblad 372 van Velp, periode 1850-1866, huis nr. 151, gewijzigd in 201, staan vermeld Willem Berendsen en vrouw Johanna Geertrui Koolwij met de vier oudste kinderen Hermanus Bernardus, Bernardus Johannes, Gerritje en Willem Johan. Tevens waren inwonend Harmanus Berendsen, de vader van Willem en Bernardus Colewij en Johanna Maria Rijnberg, Willems schoonouders met hun dochter Maria Johanna Colewij.

In het bevolkingsregister 1861-1879 woonden op nr. 201nk (gewijzigd in nr. 576nk) Willem en Johanna Geertruida met hun kinderen Bernardus Johannes, Gerritje, Willem Johan, Hermanus Bernardus, Johanna Maria, Maria Johanna, Johanna Geertruida en Wilhelmina Johanna. Verder Willems vader Harmanus en 2 kostgangers Peter Rehorst en Jans Bongers. Bernardus Johannes is op15-2-1875 vertrokken naar Arnhem. Waar Hendrik Gerritsen en Gerritje Berendsen gebleven zijn staat nergens. Waarschijnlijk overleden.

Volgens bevolkingsregister 1879-1883 woonden in wijk C, huis nr. 175 Willem Berendsen en Johanna Geertrui Koolwij en hun kinderen Gerritje (in deze periode vertrokken naar een ander adres in Velp; geen datum vermeld), Willem Johan, Hermanus Bernardus, Johanna Maria (21-2-1881 vertrokken naar Amsterdam), Maria Johanna (op het gezinsblad abusievelijk ingeschreven als Berendina Johanna Maria, maar wel met de juiste geboortedatum), Johanna Geertruida, Wilhelmina Johanna en vanaf 2-1-1880 BernardusJohannes (op 17-2-1881 vertrokken naar Enschede). En dan nog de kostganger Jans Bongers (overleden op 17-4-1881).

In het bevolkingsregister 1883-1890 staan op gezinsblad nr. 218, adres C218, Willem Berendsen en vrouw met kinderen Hermanus Bernardus, Willem Johan, Maria Johanna (ook hier ingeschreven als Berendina Johanna Maria), Johanna Geertruida en WilhelminaJohanna. Zij zijn vertrokken naar C220 bis a; geen datum vermeld.

Op het gezinsblad nr. 343, periode 1883-1890, staan op het adres C220 bis a ingeschreven Willem Berendsen en vrouw met kinderen Hermanus Bernardus, Willem Johan, Maria Johanna (ook hier ingeschreven als Berendina Johanna Maria), Johanna Geertruida en Wilhelmina Johanna. Willem is overleden op 20-12-1885. Daarna zijn de overige familieleden vertrokken en wel Johanna Geertruida Koolwij met de dochters Maria Johanna en Wilhelmina Johanna naar C294, Hermanus Bernardus naar C224 (getrouwd 8-5-1885), Willem Johan naar C300 (getrouwd 22-5-1886) en Johanna Geertrui naar A142. Er staan geen datums bij, maar ze zullen niet alle zes tegelijk vertrokken zijn.
