Het voorgenomen huwelijk van Hendrik Jan ter Horst en Gezina Reudink werd afgekondigd op 30 april en 7 mei 1882.
De moeders waren bi de trouwerij aanwezig en gaven hun toestemming tot het aangaan van dit huwelijk.
Getuigen waren Jannes Pieper, oud 52 jaar, oom van de bruidegom, Willem Reudink, oud 49 jaar, oom van de bruid, Willem Hartman, oud 45 jaar en Johannes Zelker, oud 28 jaar, allen fabrieksarbeider. Willem Reudink woonde in Enschede, de overigen in Lonneker.
De bruid, de beide moeders en de getuige Reudink verklaarden geen schrijven geleerd te hebben.
De getuige in de akte genoemd Zelker tekende als Zelvers.

ter Horst, Hendrik Jan
der lichting van 1880, uit de gemeente Enschede, provincie Overijssel.
De milicien wordt er aan herinnerd, dat het aangaan van een huwelijk hem niet zal kunnen ontheffen van het vervullen van eenige verplichting ten aanzien der Nationale Militie.
BREDA, den 2e Mei 1882.
