    Het overlijden van Hendrik Meewis werd aangegeven door Georg Christian Friedrich Wilhelm Denecke, oud 54 jaar, schoonzoon, en Jannes Sogtoen, oud 68 jaar, beiden landbouwer in de gemeente Weerselo.
    Of G.C.F.W.Denecke inderdaad landbouwer was valt te betwijfelen. Waarschijnlijk had hij een koe en een stukje land voor eigen gebruik zoals zovelen in die tijd.
    Hendrik Meewis was volgens de overlijdensakte een zoon van Hendrik Meewis en Johanna Christina de Wit.
    Hendrik is overleden te Deurningen in het huis nr. 37.
