Jan Wilem werd geboren in de Barlheze B121a en verhuisde in 1862 met zijn vader naar Vaalt E303. Na zijn huwelijk vestigde hij zich met zijn vrouw Polsbroek D253; Spiegelstraat B119b; Laarpoortwal D82a; Polsbroek D263, D277a, D275, D320c, D341 en D345a. Op 30 juni 1890 wordt er een nieuw gezinsblad gemaakt. Hij woont dan Polsbroek 345a en is arbeider in een hooimagazijn. Zijn adres veranderd daarna nog in Polsbroek D366 en 32; Groenesteeg D13 en Polsbroek D32. Volgens het dienstbodenregister heeft hij tussen 1862 en 1890 ook nog gewoond aan de Hove E303.
