Notes about Louisa Diederika Hoekstra

Op de gezinskaart van de ouders staat dat moeder Maria Maurina op 19 maart 1920 en de kinderen Ruurtje Pieternella, Johanna Maria Frederika, Geertruida Everdina, Hendrik, Louisa Diederika en Philippus vertrokken zijn naar Detroit. In de scheepspapieren staan echter alleen Maria Maurina en Ruurtje Pieternella. Als het hele gezelschap op 21 juni 1922 in Amsterdam terug komt staat op de gezinskaart dat ze uit Haarlem komen. Vermoedelijk zijn de niet meegereisde kinderen in Haarlem ondergebracht en hebben ze die eerst opgehaald. De tijd tussen afmelding in Amsterdam en vertrek van de boot is ook wel erg lang. Misschien eerst in Haarlem geweest om de kinderen weg te brengen?
