    Het overlijden van Johanna Cornelia Ederveen werd aangegeven door haar zoon David Stapel, oud 43 jaar, bode en Cornelis Wessing, oud 48 jaar, veldwachter, buurman, beiden wonende te Gendt.
    Blijkbaar was er iets mis met de overlijdensakte, want in 1951 werd onderstaande akte opgemaakt, waarin overigens niets staat wat ook niet in de oorspronkelijke akte staat:

    Bij beschikking van de Arondissements-Rechtbank te Arnhem van twaalf juli negentienhonderdeenenvijftig is de aanvulling gelast van de registers van de burgerlijke stand van de gemeente Gendt in dier voege, dat in het register van overlijden alsnog wordt ingeschreven, dat op zeventien februari achttienhonderd zevenendertig om zeven uur nul minuten in de gemeente Gendt is overleden Ederveen, Johanna Cornelia, oud negenenzeventig jaar en drie maanden, zonder beroep, geboren en wonende te Gendt, Dochter van Ederveen, Robbert, overleden en Barveling, Johanna, overleden.
    Bij deze beschikking is tevens bepaald, dat deze aanvulling zal gelden tegenover een ieder.
    Waarvan akte op heden acht oktober negentienhonderdeenenvijftig.
