Het bruidspaar en de aanwezige ouders verklaarden allen niet te kunnen schrijven.

Wij GRIETMAN van de Grietenij OOST-STELLINGWERF, Provincie Vriesland, certificeeren bij dezen op het getuigenis van Anne Hendriks de Vries, van beroep arbeider wonende te Appelscha en van Kest Pieters Jongsma, zonder beroep wonende te Appelscha, beide van competenten ouderdom, en bij ons bekend, als ter goeder naam en faam staande Ingezetenen van gemelde Grietenij, dat Bruin Karstes Bruinsma, arbeider wonende te Appelscha en Hinke Bruins Bruinsma, arbeidersche wonende te Appelscha, onvermogend zijn om de kosten der Acten, Bewijzen en Schrifturen tot het voltrekken van hun Huwelijk benoodigd, te kunnen betalen, en alzoo in zoodanige behoeftige omstandigheden verkeeren dat zij ten vollen aanspraak hebben op de voorregten bij de wet van den 26 Mei 1824 (Staatsblad No. 35) aan behoeftige personen, bij het voltrekken van Huwelijken toegekend.
En hebben wij deze, ten bewijze der waarheid met de Getuigen verteekend.
Gedaan ter Secretarie te Oldeberkoop, den 27 Januarij 1845.
