Notes about Johan Brinkcate

Vanaf 1815 werd het jachtgebied van Twickel met palen van Bentheimer zandsteen afgebakend.
In 1974 is een mooi exemplaar met de inscripties "TWICKEL" en
,,1878" verdwenen tijdens de aanleg van de rondweg om Delden. Deze
stond aan de rand van de Es tegenover het voormalige erve Ruperink. (op
de kaart no. 29)
De verdwijning van deze paal is des te kwalijker, omdat er ter plaatse
overigens niets werd veranderd. De toegangsweg door de Es naar de
rondweg ligt n.l. tientallen meters verderop.

In Markelo kwamen Johan en Hanna met hun zoon te wonen op het erve Koekoek, eigendom van de schoonouders van Antony jr. Sinds hun komst aldaar werd deze boerderij meestal Rupert genoemd.

in het inschrijvingsregister van de gemeente Ambt Delden van het jaar 1898 voor de lichting van het jaar 1899 is ingeschreven, dat hem bij de loting is ten deel gevallen nr. 23, en dat hij vervolgens door den militieraad uithoofde van gebreken 302j van den dienst is vrijgesteld.
Gegeven te ZWOLLE, den 1 Mei 1901.

w.g. onleesbaar
