      p.499: In 1745 koopt Jan Schothorst bij een boedelscheiding de hofstede Hoefsloot. Deze behoorde aan zijn schoonvader (i.c. Joannes Hannes Hoefsloot. rdk) die deze in 1717 had gekocht van de erfgenamen van de op 24 september 1716 overleden Johan de Wit.(...)
      Bij de boedelscheiding van de nalatenschap van Johannes Hendricksen Hoefsloot en de in 1745 overleden Petronella Voskuilen werd de totale waarde van het bezit op 17929 gld geschat. Na aftrek van de schulden ten bedrage van 2034 gld, bleef er 15895 gld over voor de verdeling. Er waren elf kinderen als erfgenamen, waarvan drie meerderjarig, namelijk Stijntje, de vrouw van Jan Cornelisz. Schothorst, Henrik en Arisje, beiden nog ongeuwd. De te erven portie van ieder kind bedroeg 1445 gld. en negen morgen bos, genaamd Conijnenbosch, ter waarde van 1075 gld.
      Jan Schothorst krijgt het erf met de landerijen en een akkerland, genaamde De Eikenwal, of De paepenakker (het pastoorserf te Leusden), ter waarde van 158 gld. Hij moet de andere erfgenamen 1183 gld. betalen.
