    16 augustus 1728 vermaakte Maria Giskens, wed. Goossen Cox, ziek maar bij haar verstand, goederen aan twee van haar kinderen. Haar dochter Maria land in het hissenveld, haar bed met toebeoren, "een koo ende spool ende swaerte klederen". Haar zoon Aret erfde een halve bunder met de "beeterey aen de buekenboom" het paard en de kar met toebehoren. Getuigen waren Aret Giskens, Jacob Broekhoven en Johan Werrens. bron: RAMa 3 nr.667
