Ze was meter van het tweede kind uit het huwelijk van Maria Coecq en Jan de Cort. Daar werd ze vermeld als Petronella Melckbecq. Ik vermoed dat ze van de streek rond Aalst was, gezien dat haar naam niet in de provincie Brabant voorkwam. Mijn stamgrootmoeder Pieryne moet een stuk jonger zijn geweest dan Mathijs, haar derde zoon Judocus werd geboren in 1656. Als iemand me info kan verschaffen over
Pieryne dan zou ik dat graag willen vernemen.
