(Judy Braam, Mapleton, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at The
Beacon in Mapleton. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am Thursday,
January 25, 2018 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Mankato.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.
Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
Judy was born July 18, 1946 to Arvid and Genvieve (Manthey) Freeberg
in Mankato. She was united in marriage to David Braam on May 22, 1965
in North Mankato. Judy did volunteer work at St. Joseph the Worker
Catholic Church and was a member of AA. In her free time she enjoyed
doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Braam of Mapleton; son, Brian
Braam of Belize;
Daughter, Melinda (Roy) Flitter of Janesville; grandchildren, Katrina
(special friend Brian Parkinson) and Kolten Flitter; great
grandchildren, Ben, Courtney, and Derrick; brother, Jim Freeberg of
Mankato; sister, Julie (Tom) Stier of Mankato; and many nieces and
nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda and Carol;
and nephew, Patrick.)
