e kind van Piet Zwaans en adriana Oosterwaal. Ze slaagde voor de mulo en wilde kinderpsychologie studeren. De oorlog maakte dit moeilijk en ze trouwde met leon Leijten en hun gezin werd gesticht in Dongen waar de schoenenfabriek stond. Ze baarde 6 jongens, jammer dat een meisje haar niet was gegund. Haar zus Corrie met man Martin Verschure en zoon Bert woonden naast haar. En daarnaast haar broer Jaques met Annie van Beurden en hun 4 kinderen. Later verhuisden zij naar Vleuten waar ze samen met Leon de schoenimport Sioux tot een groot bedrijf hebben gebracht. Ze was goed in mense een fijn gevoel te geven. In Luxemburg hadd ze met Leon het Finhouse 'Kokkemok' waar menig gedeeld heeft in gezelligheid, wandelen, eten, spelletjes. De familieband met broers en zusters was erg hecht. Jeanne was ook heel gelovig. Helaas gingen haar gesstelijke vermogens achteruit en werd ze na een bekkenbreuk opgenomen in de 'Wilgenhoeve'. Geef me de aanvaarding wat ik niet kan veranderen, geef de moed te veranderen wat mogelijk is en geef me de wijsheid deze twee uit elkaar te houden.( Chesterton). Er was een prachtig afscheid in de volle kerk in Vleuten. Zoon Piet, Dominique, Eugenio en nicht Jeanne Zwaans spraken ieder uit eigen ervaring over deze fijne vrouw.
