G.J.G. 30-06-1890), getrouwd met G.W. van der Hoeven, was mijn grootvader, woonachtig in Nijmegen. Beiden zijn overleden.Hij had een broer Willem, groenteboer aldaar; meer weet ik niet.. Verder kregen zij negen kinderen, waarvan de tweede jongen in 1944 is overleden aan een longziekte. De oudste was mijn vader, B.A.G. geb. 15 sept 1917 en gestorven op 30 januarie 1981, in 1944 getrouwd met Betje (Elizabeth) Drent .Nafrant detail is, dat mijn vader ook 2 jaar lang op bed heeft gelegen met pleuritis De overige kinderen van mijn grootouders waren zeven meisjes, waarvan de namen luiden Annie, Truus, Toos, MIMI, Leidje, Gré en Lenie; waarschijnlijk niet op leeftijd genoemd).
Mijn ouders, altijd wonende in Nijmegen, kregen twee kinderen, mijn zus en ik, beiden nog in leven. Mijn zus is getrouwd geweest en kreeg twee dochters. Ik ben nog steeds getrouwd en mijn vrouw en ik hebben een zoon en een dochter, waarover ik zonder hun toestemming niet zal uitwijden
