22 februari 1944

Petronella Wouters-Pfeil, dochter van Arnoldus Pfeil en Maria van Brugghen, woonde met haar man, Franciscus Wouters, aan het Doddendaal. Hun huis werd door het bombardement volledig verwoest. Haar man kon gered worden, maar Petronella was dodelijk getroffen. Haar kinderen en kleinkinderen, van wie een groot deel ook in het centrum woonden, hebben het bombardement overleefd.
