Op de lijst bij de settingen (=kerkelijke belasting) van de Lier van 30 november 1624 komt Claes Pietersz. nog voor, hoefde echter niet te betalen, daar hij een "out arbeytsman is, gepreteyeerd o S.'.
In 1625 komt hij op de lijst niet meer voor, waarschijnlijk is hij dan overleden.
R.A. De Lier, transporten, voorheen genummerd A VIII - nr. 3 fo. 28, d.d. 16-06-1638).
Hierin staat vermeld de erfgenamen van Maartgen Jorisdr., nl.:
1 - Pieter Claesz. Verhouck voor 1/4.
2 - de kinderen van Jan Claesz., zijn broeder voor 1/4.
3 - Jasper Jansz., wielmaker en Trijntje Jansdr., kinderen van Jan Claesz. en Sara Jaspers voor 1/4.
4 - Jan Aryensz., smit, zoon van Aryen Claesz. voor 1/4.
"werdende d'voors Trijntje ende Jan van de voors Pieter Claesz haer oom ende voocht tot het nabeschreven geauthoriseert".
