    Ernst Ariensz van Oostrum en Marrigje Jansdr Donker, Echtelieden, wonende te Lopik maken hun Testament op.

    De eerststervende zal aan de langstlevende de eigendom geven van alle meubelen en huisraad waarvan ze op dat moment eigenaar zijn.

    Van alle andere boedel waarvan ze geen eigenaar zijn, mag de langstlevende het vruchtgebruik en lijftocht hebben.

    Mocht de langstlevende opnieuw in het huwelijk treden, dan zal de helft van de boedel naar de kinderen gaan. Mochten er geen kinderen of descendenten meer zijn, dan zal de langstlevende eigenaar blijven van de hele inboedel.

    Als voogden over de minderjarige kinderen zullen Thomas Ariensz van Oostrum en Cornelis Dirkse Verbree aangesteld worden.

    De weeskamer en heren oppervoogden worden uitgesloten van de boedel n nalatenschap.

    Op 23-08-1723 is voor Notaris Francois van Hoogstraten een testament opgemaakt voor Pieter Ariensz van Oostrum en Jannigje Cornelis.

    In dit testament worden zowel Ernst als Arij van Oostrum benoemd is als voogd.

    Arij van Oostrum is inmiddels overleden en Ernst is nu 79 jaren en niet meer in staat het voogdijschap op zich te nemen.

    Als nieuwe voogden worden Joost Baltusz van Thienhoven, Claas van Oosterom, Jan Stigteren Leendert de Veerman benoemd.
