De broer van deze Petrus, Judocus Saeys, is de rechtstreekse voorvader van Alice Saeys, de vrouw van mijn oom Camiel Philips-De Wolf.

Mijn oom Camiel was dus verre familie van zijn vrouw Alice. Er is echter geen bloedverband. Ze zijn verwant via twee verschillende Saeys-familietakken.
