    mei 1941 op de gemeentelijke begraafplaats te Zichem Zussen Bolder

    Op 11 juni 1959 is er een schrijven van het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken (toen verantwoordelijk voor de

    militaire begraafplaatsen en oorlogsgraven) naar de gemeente Zichem Zussen Bolder, met vraag naar de

    locatie van de graven van Fr Quintelier, Gustaaf Gies en Louis Deschaumes.

    Op 27 juni 1959 antwoordt de gemeente Zichem Zussen Bolder dat Fr Quintelier begraven is op de

    gemeentelijke begraafplaats en dat er geen spoor meer is van de graven van Gustaaf Gies en Louis

    Deschaumes. De locatie van het graf van Gustaaf Gies op de gemeentelijke

    begraafplaats van Zichem Zussen Bolder tussen 1941 en 1959 verloren gegaan.
