Notes about Wiebe Harder

Na het overlijden van Hendrika Habers leefde Wiebe nog jaren samen met Janna Egberdina Anveling geboren in 1904 te …(Dien (Verschoor) uit Hoorn). Door de familie ´´Die Amsterdammer´´ genoemd. Wiebe was de oudste inwoner van het dorp Klazienaveen. Hij was tot de laatste dag actief en fietste regelmatig door het dorp. Het gerucht gaat dat hij zichzelf per ongeluk vergiftigde door het innemen van zwaar landbouwvergif. Wiebe pruimde graag pruimtabak dat hij achteloos tijdens het strooien met het gif in zijn zak zou hebben gestoken. Hij was een fantastisch verteller en vertelde verhalen die niet altijd waarheidsgetrouw waren. Zijn verhalen over de mobilisatie van Nederland, waarvoor hij in het leger was opgeroepen, waren legendarisch.

1931De VARA verzorgt experimentele televisie-uitzendingen. Oprichting vande NSB.

1932Werklozen moeten stempelen om in aanmerking te komen voor steun. Het Wilhelmus wordt het officiele Nederlandse volkslied. De afsluitdijk wordt gedicht. Zuiderzee wordt omgedoopt in IJsselmeer.

1933Verschijning van het eerste nummer van het geïllustreerde damesweekblad Libelle.

1934Het vliegtuig de Uiver wordt tweede in de race Londen-Melbourne.

1935Bij verkiezingen voor de Prov.Staten behaalt de NSB bijna 8 procent van de stemmen. De werkloosheid neemt astronomische vormen aan. In de winter loopt het op tot 40 procent van de beroepsbevolking.

1936ANP krijgt zijn telexverbinding. AVRO krijgt eigen studio. Nederland haalt zes gouden medailles bij de Olympische Spelen in Berlijn.

1937Prinses Juliana trouwt met Prins Bernhard van Lippe -Biesterfeld,

1938De Rotterdamse burgemeester Oud verbiedt de voetbalinterland tussen Nederland en Duitsland.

1939Het kabinet Colijn besluit in het Drentse Westerbork een kamp in te richten voor Joodse vluchtelingen. Op 28 augustus wordt de Algemene mobilisatie afgekondigd. De lichtingen 1924 tot en met 1939 moeten allemaal opkomen. In oktober gaat de suiker als eerste op de bon.

1940In mei vallende Duitsers het land binnen en Nederland blijft 5 jaar bezet door de duitsers.
