Notes about William Chase

William accompanied his parents to America, in 1630. He removed with his fathers family to Yarmouth, in 1638, and died there, February 27, 1685. He was a prominent resident of the town, but took no active part in civic affairs. They were the parents of eight children.
It is said that he was a drummer boy in 1645 in "Myless Standish's Co." which fought against the Narangansett Indians.
