Ondergetekende betuigt hierdoor hartgrondige dank aan allen die een poging gedaan hebben de moordaanslag op zijn leven te voorkomen, in het bijzonder aan de voorman ARTHUR BLOKLAND (Marro), die met gevaar voor eigen leven de lynchers aanhield, en voor hun kordaat optreden; de voorman Mohamed Zen Sharief, de opzichter P. Schouten en de hulp-agent van politie E.P. Almelo.
De directie vn de N.V. Billiton Maatschappij te Onverdacht dank ik voor alle hulp welke zij op 2 april verleende alsmede ook de politie Autoriteiten die ter plaatse verschenen.
Tenslotte aan de vele anderen die hier niet genoemd kunnen worden met oog op represailles. K.H. ARAH.
