Het huwelijk van Thijs en Grietje was op 04-04-1883 te Grootebroek, hij was 22 en zij 23 jaren oud
Grietje huwde opnieuw, op 16-08-1900 te Grootebroek, maar nu met Klaas Ooteman, hij 45 en zij 40.
(zij was weduwe van Thijs) en hij weduwnaar van Trijntje Kommandeur.
Grietje huwde opnieuw, en wel op 11-09-1913 te Grootebroek, maar nu met Meindert Oud, hij en zij 53 jr.
Meindert was weduwnaar van Anna Stam en Grietje weduwe van Thijs Snelten en Klaas Ooteman.
En helaas (tot nog toe) maar één kind van Thijs en Grietje gevonden, en wel een zekere:
Johanna Maria Snelten, geb. te Amsterdam. ca. 1888/1889 gehuwd met Willem Ooteman op 29-04-1909 te Grootebroek., zij was 20 en hij was 28 jaren oud.
En de ouders van Thijs waren: Jan Snelten en Maartje Buis.
De ouders van Grietje waren: Jan Koeman en Jantje Out.
