Er is een notitie in het Oud Archief Smallingerland, invnr 423, waaruitblijkt dat hij in 1702 werd betaald voor werkzaamheden aan de Noord Draghster Kerk:

Op den 6 junii 1684 hebben de selvige betaelt aen Pieter Saeckes de somma van twee caroli guldens 16 stuijvers met mennen verdient aen de materialen tot de Kraeck in de Noord Draghster kercke volgens quitancie metNo. 72, dus 2.16.00

Den 15 Augusti 1702 volgens quitancie met no. 19 betaelt aen Taeke Harmens de somma van twee caroli guldens twee stuijvers wegens een lopen zement ten dienste van de kercke gelevert, dus 2.02.00

Voorts wegens vracht van voorschreven sement en van twee goten te saemen volgens annotatie betaelt 0.12.00

Den 19 dito (=1702) aen Halbe Alberts wegens vijff daegen opperen aen de kercke s' daeghs tot thien stuijvers t' saemen volgens annotatie betaelt 2.10.00
Voorts aen Pieter Saeckes wegens zand mennen aen de kerck volgens annotatie betaelt 0.15.00
