De akte vermeldt dat de echtgenoot de zoon is van Petrus Braeckmans, afwezig wiens verblijfplaats onbekend is en van Joanna Catharina Paepen, overleden, de moeder onwettig, en dat hij onder eed verklaard heeft dat hem de plaats van overlijden en de laatste woonstede van zijn vaderzijdse grootouders onbekend is. De vier getuigen hebben onder eed dezelfde verklaring gedaan. De comparantenn hebben verklaard niet te kunnen schrijven, behalve de echtgenoot, de tweede en vierde getuige die de akte getekend hebben.
