Mijn naam is Mark de Boevere. Mijn naaste familie komt uit Zeeuws-Vlaanderen en daar ben ik ook geboren (Hoofdplaat). Vandaag woon en werk ik in Brabant. Ik stam onder meer af van Alonso Millan = Alonso de Milano. Ik ben inmiddels Mark de Boevere:

• Milliano, (de): Patr. It. Miliano < Emiliano (DE FELICE). Maar blijkens de oudst bekende stamvader, Milan = de Milano, is de naam veeleer de It. FN Milano, Milani, vanwege herkomst van Milaan (DE FELICE). Volgens de overlevering is de familie afkomstig uit Italië en zou ze vertrokken zijn naar Spanje, om zich dan in de Nederlanden te vestigen.
