Chris was lid van de orde van de Priesters van het H.Hart. Hij is in 1947 naar N.O. Brazilië gegaan.
Daar heeft hij zijn studie afgemaakt en is in 1950 Priester gewijd.
In 1951 deed hij zijn Eerste Plechtige H.Mis in de St.Clemenskerk in Hilversum. De kerk was prachtig versierd door de fa. Schaapherder en Calis. Chris is 50 jaar in Brazilië als missionaris geweest, hij kwam in 1993 terug.
Woonde toen in Asten (NB) in een rusthuis voor Paters en Broeders.
