Anna stamde af van een oud Frans geslacht uit de omgeving van Lille en afkomstig uit het huis Goudicourt, heren van Herrin in Frans Vlaanderen. Ze voerden als wapen een goud veld, beladen met een roodkruis en daarop 5 witte schelpen en tot helmteken een gouden arendskop. Dit wapen voerden de heren van Goudicourt tot Jean de Goudicourt seigneur de Herin, die zijn vaderlijk wapen en zijn naam verliet en dat van Herrin aannam, een rood veld met een gouden schildhoofd, beladen met drie zwarte Adrieskruizen. Zijn kleinzoon Joan de Herrin le Jeune die de naam lÉstevenon aannam naar zijn heerlijkheid LÉsteve of lEstevelne, voerde onder op het rode schild een liggende zilveren wassende maan. l'estevelne was een heerlijkheid in de buurt van Lille op de grens van Artois aan de rivier de haute Duella dicht bij ten oosten van Pont Andrin.
