Notes about Meijndert Claesz Aleman

Myndert Claeszn was the patriarc of the Aleman family in Ouddorp.
Rancher of the East Dunes near the village of Ouddorp (1624-1663), owner of a farmhouse in the "Oude Nieuwland", Sheriff of Oude Nieuwland in 1651. In 1668 Meyndert is blind and as his signature he used his seal in wax, "The arms of Holland/Hainault placed in a garden with above it the letters M.C."
Died on Friday 29 May 1670, most likely in Noordwijk, where he was registered at a guesthouse.
