Notes about Jeltje Baesdr. Algera

Notitie bij Jeltje: zij wordt in 1637 genoemd als weduwe te Hommerts en in 1640 JELTJE JOHANS genoemd, eigenaar en gebruiker van boerderij nr. 30 te Hommerts (stemkohier). Vermoedelijk zijn door Cnossens twee stemgerechtigde boerderijen samengevoegd tot één en werd er door hem een nieuwe woning opgezet. Het proces, dat Jeltje met haar kinderen in 1642 met de kerkvoogden van Hommerts voerde, had met nieuwbouw te maken. Beide partijen moeten bij de grietman verschijnen en hem informeren over o.a. „wat ende hoeveel huijsinge sedert den 21e April is gebout, wat dien waardich is ende offte de voorscreven bouwinge eerlijcke en redelijcker wijse is geschiet nae gelegentheijt der landen van dit dorp, wat huijsinge voor´t nieuwgebou daer heeft gestanden ende hoeveel geestelijcke landen bij de Impetranten (eisers) ende haer man gebruijckt sijn geweest; daarop men de last der questiose huijsinge will leggen ende wat andere landen d´ Impetrante ende haer man meer hebben gehadt ofte gefoocht onder dit questiose huijs altijt gebruijckt."
