The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "Ermentrudem" as wife of "Theodericum [filius comiti Montionis Ludovico]" specifying that she was heiress to Montbéliard[46]. She retired to the château de Montbéliard after the death of her husband.
