Roelof was dus een vooraanstaande inwoner van de Reijerwaard. Hij bezat er vele landerijen. Eén ervan, "Roel Cranendoncx blok", in het nieuwe land van Ridderkerk behield zijn naam tot aan de 17e eeuw.
