Woonde vanaf november 1802 in "de boerderij" aan de Oude Enghweg hoek 's Gravelandscheweg
in Hilversum. Het weiland daarachter strekte zich uit tot aan het Melkpad en is gebouwd rond 1780 (vlak na de grote brand van 1766)en Dirk heeft daar 800 gulden voor betaald. Dirk en Dirkje hadden al 6 kinderen en in deze boerderij zijn nog 4 kinderen geboren. In 1833 woonden nog 4 kinderen thuis toen Dirk overleed. Dirkje Beijer zette het bedrijf voort en kocht er nog land bij.zoals het stuk grond achter de boerderij tot het Melkpaadje.In 1846 na het overlijden van moeder Dirkje verkochtende kinderen de boerderij en achterliggende grond op de veiling voor 4.330 gulden aan Jacob Brouwer.
