Op de achterkant van de foto staat met balpen geschreven: Andries van Schaik Koba Braam. De foto is mogelijk genomen op 12 maart 1931 ter gelegenheid van het 25 jarig huwelijk van Andries en Jacoba.
Op de achterste rij staan, van links naar rechts:
Krina (*30-5-1896), Johannes (*3-12-1901), Martina (*27-5-1898), Willem (*28-2-1904) en Jan (*14-2-1906).
Op de voorgond staat naast vader Andries en moeder Jacoba, het nakomertje Andreas van Schaik (1918-1995)
Op 12 februari wordt op verzoek van het ministerie van Justitie, de overlijdensacte ingeschreven van Jan van Schaik, zoon van Andries van Schaik en Jacoba Braam, als zijnde overleden op de Noordzee op 20 juni 1941. Hij is dan 35 jaar oud. Jan was gehuwd met Maria Magdalena van Gemert.
