Bij zijn huwelijk in juni 1913 was zijn vader "Jac"Oliemans niet aanwezig. Er staat dat zijn woon en of verblijfplaats onbekend wa. Inmiddels weten we dat Jac. Oliemans toen in Chelmford (GB) woonde.


Zijn bruid Theresia Catharina van der Kleij was in juni 1913 al zwanger van haar eerste kind.


Hermanus (Manus) was landarbeider en werkte vele jaren bij het bollenbedrijf Baartman en Koning in Sassenheim. Hij woonde aan de Douzastraat.


Sinds de dood van zijn vrouw woonde hij samen met zijn jongste dochter Trees, getrouwd met de schoenmaker Joseph Matheus (Joop) Bosman, IJmuiderstraat 1 in Noordwijk-Binnen.Deze huizen zijn rond 2009 gesloopt. Zijn laatste jaren woonde hij samen met het gezin Bosman aan het Piet Heinplein 8 in Noordwijk aan Zee.


Hermanus is overleden an de gevolgen van een hartaanval tijdens een vakantie in Limburg. Hij was voor het eerst mee met een reis van de bejaarden uit Noordwijk.
