Vermeld op het Hoogovenmonument aan de Wenckebachstraat te Velsen-Noord.

Reinier Plettinghof, officiële straatnaam bij raadsbesluit van 9 december 1976. (Beverwijk)
Renier Pletting werd geboren op 28 augustus 1918 te Beverwijk en is overleden op 12 maart 1945 te Amsterdam. Samen met zijn boezemvriend Jan Dirk Semeins was Reinier lid van Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten. Reinier was groepscommandant van het S. G. derBinnenlandse Strijdkrachten te Beverwijk. Zo verspreidde hij o.a. het illegale blad "Vrij Nederland". Gelijk met Jan Pleeging en Jan Semeins werd Reinier op 26 februari 1945 door de Duitse politie gearresteerd. Wegens hulp aan onderduikers en jodenwerd hij zonder proces gefusilleerd op het Weteringsplantsoen. Dit als represaille voor de aanslag op de SD'er Wehner die een paar dagen ervoor bij een inval aan de Stadhouderskade door twee verzetsstrijders was doodgeschoten. Op 27 oktober 1945 werdReinier na een rouwdienst in de Grote Kerk herbegraven op Duinrust.

werd gevolgd, alwaar zij werden
bijgezet op het herdenkingsveld.
