Bron: kopie van huwelijksakte: Eelke was boerenknecht en woonde in Ureterp. Zijn ouders zijn erbij: Sytse Jans Hemrica en Ymkje Jans van der Heide, beide arbeiders in Garijp, waar ze ook wonen. Hebeltje is dienstmeid en haar ouders zijn overleden. Haar ouders waren boeren te Otterterp. Wel aanwezig zijn de voogd en de toeziend voogd van Hebeltje: Anne BouwesFaber, grofsmid uit Beetsterzwaag en Auke Gerts Huisma, boer in Otterterp. Hij is waarschijnlijk een broer van haar vader en dus een oom. Ze is 21 en wordt beschreven als minderjarig. De afkondigingen van het huwelijk waren op de zondagen 28 april en 15 mei, zonder stuiting. Allerlei aktes moesten worden overlegd, o.a. geboorteakten en een certificaat van voldoening aan de militie. Getuigen waren drie veldwachters: Albert TijmensLeutz 30, Pieter Doekes Zijlstra ( 33) en Siebren de Jong (49). Ook getuige was een ambtenaar van de secretarie: Hedde Jochums Beetsma (64). Dezelfde Siebren de Jong, een veldwachter, was ook al getuige bij de geboorte-aangifte van Uilke Pieters Zwerver in 1858.
Ik heb ook een kopie van de gezinskaart van dit echtpaar dat in Drachtenging wonen. Die kaart toont dat ze in maart 1872 (?) bij een familie Boonstra worden bijgeschreven: ene Popke Hendriks Boonstra woont daar met drie zonen. Daar komt dus de familie Hemrica (nog met een c) even bij met hun 5 kinderen. Hoewel: de familie Boonstra is doorgestreept, dus waarschijnlijk namen de Hemrica's het huis over. Johannes Hemrica is het zesde kind en verschijnt op 26 april 1872 ( zijn geboortedatum) en Engeltje als zevende kind op 23 oktober 1873, 13 dagen na haar geboorte. Vanaf mei 1879 verschijnt er een familie de Vries met drie kinderen en zijn de Hemrica's weer doorgestreept. Misschien zijn die Boonstra's wel familie. Ene Geert Beins Boonstra was in 1851 getrouwd met Yttje Sytzes Hemrica en veeleerder was Ytje Eelkes Boonstra in 1793 getrouwd met Jan Sytses Hemrica.
Als beroep van Eelke Sytzes staat arbeider vermeld. Deze kaart is van Noord-Drachten.
