Getuigen zijn ambtenaren van het gemeentehuis. De moeder van de bruidegom tekent niet, want ze kan niet schrijven.

Hij was kapitein op sleepboten van de Gebroeders Goedkoop uit Amsterdam. O.a. op De Pieter en zijn laatste boot was de Anna Cornelia, waarop ook zijn naam was gezet. Hij vond zelf dat men hem schipper moest noemen.
Er is een gezinskaart in Amsterdam. Zijn beroep is schipper. Als adres o.a. Spaarndammerdijk 33. Bij Pieter staat matroos. Bij Cornelia Frederica staat naaister en bij Jan Barend metaalbewerker.
Ik heb een foto van hem op de brug van de Anna Cornelia Goedkoop.
De "Pieter"werd in 1911 gebouwd op de werf van Weduwe J.L.Creuvel " 't Kromhout" te Amsterdam. Op 8-5-1970 werd de te boek stelling doorgehaald.
De Anna Cornelia Goedkoop werd in 1928 gebouwd op de werf N.V. Nederlandse Scheepsbouw Maatschappij te Amsterdam. Zij werd gesloopt op 14-7-1966 bij Frank Rijsdijk te Hendrik Ido Ambacht.
