Notes about Gijsbert van de Lagemaat

Stamboom Zegert Vis vermeldt dat Gijsbert (Barten) 2 keer trouwde:
1 met Merritje (Maria) Gijsbertsd van de Lagerweij en
2 met Marrigje Jans

Ik heb die gegevens over genomen, maar heb later de Genealogie van Oud Scherpenzeel erbij gelegd. Daar wordt alleen de echtgenote Maria Gijsbertsdvan de Lagerweij vermeld.

En bestudering van de stamboom van Zegert Vis leert dat zijn gegevens niet juist kunnen zijn: Volgens zijn gegevens overleed Maria van de Lagerweijin het jaar 1780. Daarnaast werden volgens diezelfde stamboom de kinderen van Marrigje Jans geboren in 1743, 1746, 1755 en 1758.

Een tweede huwelijk rond 1740 lijkt mij alleen mogelijk na een overlijden. Omdat Maria pas in 1780 overleed/ werd begraven lijkt het dus niet aannemelijkdat er sprake is van een tweede kuwelijk.
