Aanvulling van Paul C. Smis: De transcriptie van het Gelders Archief is erg slordig. Er staat : "Den 24 Dito Peter Everts van Veelen en Aaltjen Berends een soon gedoopt gen. Evert" Er is dus geen sprake van een "Evert Evertsz." De vader van Evert heette Peeter. De grootvader heette wel Evert. De boreling zal waarschijnlijk Evert Peetersz genoemd zijn.
