Emmerik 25 febr. 1641, jur. student te Leiden 22 okt. 1665, advocaat te Amsterdam, ontving 19 sept. 1676 zijn commissie als resident te Frankfort, was te Rijnberk 19 jan., te Frankfort 13 febr., waar hij het eerst ontvangen werd 17 febr. 1677 en het laatst vermeld wordt 21 febr. 1683 ; 7 maart kwam hij aan en 8 maart 1683 werd hij ontvangen als resident bij de Rijksdag te REGENSBURG 153 Regensburg; hij verbleef 18 juni 1683 te München en was 8 juli weer terug te Regensburg; 23 aug. 1686 was hij te Frankfort op weg met verlof naar Holland; bij res. 25 febr. 1687 werd hij benoemd tot extra- ordinaris envoyé; hij vertrok opnieuw in maart 1687; benoemd tot extraordinaris envoyé naar de Zwitserse kantons bij res. 15 aug. 1690 (geloofsbrief 8 sept. 1690), vertrok hij uit Regensburg (laatste brief 14/22 sept. 1690), zond zijn eerste brief uit Zürich 2/13 okt. 1690 en bood 6 okt. 1690 zijn geloofsbrieven aan te Zürich; was te Emmerik 17 aug. 1694, te 's-Gravenhage 2 sept. 1694 en 17 sept. 1695, te Stuttgart 24 okt. 1695, te Zürich 24 dec. 1695, opnieuw te Stuttgart 10 april 1699 (hulp aan de Franse gerefugieerden), te Frankfort 3 en 14 mei, te Stuttgart 25 en 29 mei, te Frankfort 18 en 21 juni, te Darmstadt 25 juni, te Frankfort 5 en 30 juli, te Stuttgart in sept, en te Frankfort nov. 1699 tot begin juli 1700, te Baden 29 sept., te Zürich 2 okt. tot dec. 1700, reisde via Schaffhausen en Basel naar Frankfort (jan. tot 14 maart 1701), kwam 25 maart 1701 weer te Zürich, was te Baden mei tot aug. 1701, was in sept. 1701 met verlof in Holland tot na 3 juni 1702, schreef uit Kassei 26 juni/ 1 juli en 29 juni/4 juli 1702, uit Frankfoit 2/7 juli, uit Stuttgart 17/24 juli, uit Schaffhausen 22/31 juli en uit Baden 26 juli/4 aug. 1702, verbleef in 1703 te Baden en Zürich, sedert 27 sept. 1703 te Schaff- hausen tot 15 dec, daarna weer te Baden, in 1704 te Schaffhausen, Bern en Baden en schreef zijn laatste brief uit Schaffhausen 8 juni 1704; bracht rapport uit 8 aug. 1704, waarna hem ontslag verleend werd, f 's-Gravenhage 15 juli 1712, begr. aldaar (Gr.k.). Zoon van "Bieter Valckenier Pietcrsz., broeder van Frederik Valckenier, nr. 294, en Ida Remschet; trouwde 2 sept. 1670 Charlotta Becx (van Oersbeek), geb. Stockholm 20 aug. 1652, f 16 nov. 1722. In 1681354a en waarschijnlijk reeds in 1677 was zijn amanuensis of secretaris François le Roy. In 1682 was (J.) Daniel Fabricius zijn secretaris355 en tijdens zijn verlof 1686 tot 1687 schreef zijn amanuensis Georg Arnold berichten.
