Den 16n Jul i d.a.v. werd hem evenwel toegestaan binnen de stad te komen „omme zijn neeringe van den brouwerie te achtervolgen" mits hij den eed van trouw in handen van Burgemeesteren aflegde, den Koning als Graaf van Holland zoude helpen voorstaan, en de R. K. religie onderhield (cc);
