    Dale was born March 20, 1927 in Litchfield.

    A World War II veteran, he was the owner of service stations in Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center for many years.

    He was a member of the Walker United Methodist Church, Howard Lake, for 25 years, and also a member of Brooklyn United Methodist Church for 45 years.

    Dale especially enjoyed spending his summers at his lake home in Longville.

    He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.

    Dale is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bettie; sons and daughters-in-law, Kim and Jean, and Kevin and Deb; grandchildren: Kelly, Jennifer, Clifford, Allison, and Bryan; and many other relatives and friends.

    Funeral services were Monday, April 26, at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, Brooklyn Center. Interment was at Howard Lake Cemetery, Howard Lake.
