      VAN REEKUM, Gysbert (Bert)March 5, 1934 - Borculo, Gelderland, Netherlands March 28, 2015 – Calgary, AlbertaBert Van Reekum beloved husband of Christina Van Reekum of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the age of 81 years after a brief illness. Bert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Christina; sons Herman (Shelley) and Arnold (Shelly) Van Reekum; daughters, Rixta (Floyd) Moritz and Christina Taylor. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren Evan, Curtis, Simon, Aaron, Tanisha, Hayley and Kale. In the past year, Bert was blessed with two great-grandsons, Hudson and Dominik. He is also survived by one brother Wim and his family in Ontario and many relatives in the Netherlands. Bert lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his many friends and business associates. "A life well lived!" A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
