    Henk Rijnders werkte met zijn broer Joop in het expeditiebedrijf van zijn vader aan de Smetiusstraat 12. Omdat drie van de vier auto's gevorderd waren door de Duitsers gebruikten zij voor het vervoer opnieuw paard en wagen. Op de 22e februari was Henk onderweg naar het station om goederen op te halen toen hij onderweg door de bommen werd overvallen. Zijn laatste woorden waren bestemd voor zijn vrouw die hij met vier jonge kinderen achterliet.
