Geachte heer Borgsteede,

Hierbij wil ik een fout melden die u in genealogie online heeft gezet. Het gaat hierbij om Jacobus van der Laarse getrouwd met Machtelt Vallet. U heeft als ouders van Jacobus ene Pieter van Laer en Margarita Terwe neer gezet dit is helaas niet correct. Jacobus is in juni 1733 in Amsterdam ingeschreven in de boeken van de geref. kerk (film 871 archief A'dam). Hij komt van Goes. Verder onderzoek heeft aan getoond dat zijn voorouders uit Goes en omstreken komen. Hij zelf is gedoopt op 29 maart 1715 in Goes en is een zoon van Pieter van de Leerse en Jacoba Vermole Jacobus heeft de namen van zijn ouders door gegeven aan zijn kinderen.
